Pay for what runs.
Get the whole platform.

Three plans are planned. Each is meant to include builds, deploys, previews, Postgres with backups, domains, workers, cron jobs, autoscaling and metrics. They differ in how much runs, how many people work together, and the support behind it.

In the beta, Deplane is free. Only the Beta plan exists today. Pro and Team are coming soon: the prices below are what we plan to charge, and the limits may change before launch. Nothing can be bought yet. Beta accounts get notice before anything is billed, and nothing is charged without a plan you chose.

Usage

Planned: pay by the hour for more.

Billing is not live yet. Once it is, extra instances and databases beyond your plan will be billed by the hour they run. Stop an app (scale it to 0) and it will stop costing anything. These are the planned prices.

medium1 vCPU1 GBabout $10 / monthabout $14 / month
large2 vCPU2 GBabout $20 / monthabout $28 / month

Billed by the hour

An instance that runs for 10 days costs a third of a month. Monthly prices above assume it runs all month.

Builds are included

Each build runs in its own microVM, separate from your apps, and does not count against your running memory. Build steps are cached, so repeat builds are fast.

No bandwidth surprises

Normal web traffic is included. Deplane is not built for hosting large video or file downloads; use object storage for those.

Compare plans

Every feature, side by side.

These are the planned plans. Pro, Team and Enterprise are not available yet; the Beta plan is. Dedicated servers, region choice, SAML single sign-on and a private network are on the roadmap.

Pricing questions

The fine print, in plain words.

What counts as "memory running"?

The memory of every instance of every app that is running, added together, plus your databases. Two small instances (512 MB each) and one medium instance (1 GB) use 2 GB. Builds do not count. An app scaled to 0 uses nothing.

What happens when I reach a limit?

Nothing that is running stops. The change that would go over the limit is refused with a clear error that says which limit and how to fix it. You can then remove something. Paid extra capacity is planned, not available yet.

Can I change plans?

Plans are not on sale yet, so there is nothing to change today. When Pro and Team launch, you will be able to move between them from the dashboard.

Do you invoice in euros, with VAT?

Prices are shown in US dollars. Billing is not live yet. We plan to offer payment in euros at launch, with VAT invoices that include your company's VAT number.

Can I cap what I spend?

Today nothing is billed, and your plan's limits are a hard cap. A monthly spend cap for when billing starts is planned for 2027.

Are databases backed up?

Yes, continuously. Deplane streams every database's changes as they happen and takes a full copy every night, encrypted per database, with a second copy on a separate backup server. On the Beta plan you can restore to any second of the last 7 days, into a new database, then switch your apps to it. A deleted database can be restored for 7 days too. The backup window of Pro, Team and Enterprise is not final yet. How restores work.

What does the beta cost?

Nothing. Beta accounts run up to 3 apps with 1.5 GB of memory for free. Before billing starts, we tell you the date and the plan your account would move to, and you choose.

How do I cancel?

Nothing is billed during the beta, so there is nothing to cancel. When paid plans launch, you will be able to cancel from the dashboard at any time.

Do you offer discounts for startups, education or open source?

Write to sales@deplane.cloud and tell us about the project. We would rather help a good project grow on Deplane than lose it over a few dollars.
